Who We Are

Brian Revill, Fargo League Founder

Driven by a passion for pool and a commitment to putting players first, Brian founded the Fargo League after years of experience in local amateur leagues. His vision was simple: create a league where the focus is on the players, ensuring that the benefits flow back to the individuals who make the league thrive. Inspired by the fairness and universality of the FargoRate handicap system used to rank professional players globally, Brian saw an opportunity to bring this integrity to the amateur league he envisioned. Through numerous 8 Ball and 9 Ball tournaments, Brian meticulously crafted a set of rules that catered to players of all skill levels, making the game equally appealing to both higher and lower-handicapped participants.

About Us

The Fargo League officially launched on August 22, 2022, with an impressive inaugural participation of 41 teams. By the following spring in 2023, the number of participating teams increased to 59. Defying the common trend where leagues experience a dip in team numbers during the summer due to various recreational pursuits, the summer of 2023 saw an unexpected surge, with team numbers climbing to 71, a testament to the league’s growing popularity. The momentum continued into the fall of 2023, with the league expanding further to accommodate 119 teams. This remarkable growth solidified the Fargo League as a permanent and thriving fixture in the pool community. Spring 2024 marked a significant milestone as Norristown, PA, became the second chapter of the Fargo League. With a total of 149 teams under its banner, the Fargo League is poised for even greater things.

As the league looks ahead, the exciting prospect of a Vegas East event awaits on the horizon. The Fargo League is not just a league; it’s a community that celebrates the spirit of pool, camaraderie, and fair play.
